After roll out the Teams to New teams from classic, many users facing the issue with Teams application,
Below are the few issues reported regularly,
- Unable to start Teams,
- Teams getting crashed,
- Suddenly Teams getting crashed in call,
- When users share their screen Teams getting hanged,
- when is screen share is going on and recording is enabled teams getting hanged and showing blank screen.
the above are most common issues with New Teams.
Solution:
First is to clear the Teams cache from below path, the new Teams application cache path was changed to below.
C:\Users\profile\AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe
delete all the files and folders under this path
Second thing to check Teams configuration,
- Make user Teams application is set up as default messaging app
- Check and update latest version of Teams application
- Uninstall and install teams again,
- Clear site cache from default browser for that open default browser like Chrome or Edge, press f12 it will open developer option then follow the screen
