Microsoft Keep changing the versions of applications, in that Outlook is too, they released the new outlook "Outlook new" with Web based features I mean it looks like same as web outlook.
still the classic outlook is in working, but Microsoft have the road map to decommission the classic outlook.
But after they released the new outlook still users are using classic outlook because its user friendly GUI and working without any issues.
These are the common issues reported by users,
- Outlook crashing,
- Outlook getting hanged,
- Unable to send emails,
- Emails are not updating/outlook not refreshing the mails,
- Mails are keep stuck in Outbox,
- Outlook keep opening and closing automatically,
- unable to load old emails.
To resolve the above issues perform one by one based on the issue you are encountering,
1. Close and open Outlook from task manager,
2. Check the outlook opening with safer mode, for that open Run bar and type "outlook.exe /safe" check if its working with safe mode or not.
3. Clear Outlook cache from below path "C:\Users\userProfile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\RoamCache"
4. Recreate the profile from control panel, for that open control panel, select Mail (Microsoft Outlook), select show profile, delete the existing profile and click on new/add, enter your email address and password, click next.

5. Rename the Outlook folder to Outlook_old and restart the outlook.
